Në debatin e mbajtur sot në Hotel Grand të organizuar nga Organizata ÇOHU! “Privatizimi, kompanitë publike, Kosova e Re (C): si ta mbrojmë pronën publike?” u diskutua mbi planet e qeverisë së Kosovës për të privatizuar dy kompanitë më të rëndësishme publike PTK dhe KEK-u dhe për planet për ndërtimin e termocentralit “Kosova e Re (C)”. Në debat ishin të ftuar ekspertë të energjisë, ekspertë të telekomunikacionit si dhe ekspertë të ekonomisë për të debatuar sesi mund të mbrohen më së miri interesat e qytetarëve të Kosovës.

Some of the main problems that have been identified recently in the PTK, are its CEO’s decisions to continue to waste public funds at his own will.  It is confirmed that these funds are being spent without use of any applicable laws of Kosovo, in particular his decision to send 40 (forty) PTK employees for ‘training purposes’ in the University of Kent without using the tendering process. This is estimated to cost PTK €400,000 (four hundred thousand Euros)

Some of the main problems that have been identified and that have led to the marking the Kosova’s justice system as failed are the non-engagement in solving of a number of important cases that have affected the interests of the Kosovar’ society, the lack of consistency in the law enforcement in cases that have been treated by this system, a large number of backlog cases that have been postponed for an indefinite period of time, several accuses for corruption and a considerable number of cases where have been suspected irregularities and judges and prosecutors have been suspended and taken under investigation.
